Progressive Pathways Psychology
I understand that reaching out for support can sometimes feel overwhelming. I aim to provide a warm, respectful, and supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and understood.
Â
I will meet you where you are in your journey, and support you in building insight, enhancing psychological flexibility, and developing practical coping strategies within a compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based therapeutic space that honours your unique experiences, values, and identity.
Hello, I'm Annick.
I am a registered psychologist and the founder of Progressive Pathways Psychology, with over two decades of professional experience across psychology, the disability sector, and prior service in the police force overseas. These diverse experiences have provided me with a broad understanding of life's challenges and complexities, shaping the compassionate and thoughtful approach I bring to my work.
My approach combines evidence-based practice with warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect for each person's unique experiences, strengths, and values.
I believe meaningful change often begins with understanding. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge, seeking greater self-awareness, or looking to develop practical skills for everyday life, I aim to provide a collaborative and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
My work is guided by compassion, respect, fairness, and a commitment to lifelong learning. I strive to tailor support to each individual, recognising that every person's story, goals, and circumstances are unique.
Therapeutic Approaches

My practice is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, guided by a trauma‑informed and strengths‑based approach that honours each person's unique experiences, identity, and cultural background. I work from a holistic, client‑centred framework, integrating CBT, ACT, DBT, and Solution‑Focused Therapy (SFT) to meet individual needs and promote growth.
